Vilmet in short

Vilmet is a machine shop focusing on demanding medium-heavy subcontract machining that is based in Mänttä-Vilppula in Central Finland. We manufacture machine and equipment structures and components based on customer needs into installation-ready products and overall solutions. Our services also include demanding cast machining applications (tempered steel and steel casts).

The welding, machining, and installation is completed by us. Everything else, such as surface treatment, is acquired from trusted long-term partners. Our products include various kinds of frame parts and steel structures, switchgear boxes, blocks, and housings, all of which are manufactured as a subcontractor.

The roots of Vilmet Oy go back to 1981. Today, the company is part of the LEKO Group. Together the group companies are able to offer increasingly large entities for their international customers.
